Vanilla Lavender Review

I loved this scent! This is another scent my cousin had requested and it was amazingly relaxing. This is another one of our layered delight tarts. When I smelled it from the outside the box, the vanilla overpowered the lavender. But once I opened the lid, you couldn't smell the vanilla. Now I didn't burn it like normal people lol. I was using it as a scent sample so I wanted to make it look like the actual tart so I had cut off the Lavender and did it separately from the vanilla. But either way, I loved the separate scents. I'll do a better update when I get the scent again and burn it correctly.

Spiced Coffee Review

I personally don't like the smell of coffee but my boyfriend does. This is what he said: "Spice coffee has a strong sweet coffee smell even before you start to melt it in your tart warmer. When it starts to melt you can smell both the coffee and vanilla intertwine with each other making a wonderful vanilla coffee mix that makes you think of morning coffee with vanilla creamer in it. For those who do not like the smell or taste of coffee this would not be your forte since the coffee does over power the vanilla at first than its sweetened out once the mix of the two merge."

To me it was like walking down the coffee aisle in Walmart and its a scent overload. I place my scent samples in the freezer so they will harden and stay stiff. My little freezer/fridge still smells like it and it was over two weeks ago.

Spiced Coffee is one of our Layered Delights. It comes only in tart form. Out of the six layered candles, this one is probably my least favorite. The two scents that are combined is Cinnamon and Coffee. Coffee is the bottom layer; mainly the entire cube with Cinnamon is the top layer, filling it from the top of the cube forms to the top of the box. I preferred the Cinnamon smell to the coffee. Here is what the description of the candle says: "

• Scent #1 - Cinnamon
• Irresistible, sweet and sticky cinnamon buns drenched with icing... yum!  Butter, cinnamon, and sugar notes make up this heavenly and delicious wax tart!  
• Scent #2 - Coffee
• The aroma of freshly brewed coffee beans combined with creamy vanilla and a base note of hazelnuts. It is a warm welcome to get the morning going or a quiet evening with friends.

There are several ways to how to melt this:
*A) place it with Coffee on the bottom, touching the warmer. You'll get the smell of Coffee before the smell of Cinnamon.
*B) place it with Cinnamon on the bottom, touching the warmer. You'll get the swift smell of Cinnamon before the Coffee takes in. The Cinnamon scent is only about a 1 cm thick and *C) place it on the side with both scents touching the warmer. The scents will blend perfectly.

The company labeled this scent as intense and it is definitely intense. It spreads throughout the room really quickly and those that came over to my place said that they smelt it as they were coming into the house.

You are probably wondering why I got Spiced Coffee when I don't like the smell of coffee. My wonderful cousin had asked for a number of scent samples that I didn't currently have so I decided to go ahead and get the scents that she wanted to try before ordering. It gave me a chance to smell them and tell her what I thought of the scents. Plus it builds my jewelry collection to show off.

Cotton Candy Review



So who likes going to the state fair or any kinda of event say, like the circus, and getting a big stick of cotton candy? I love cotton candy; I recently had a Cotton Candy blizzard from DQ and oh it was so good, gave me a crazy sugar rush. Well I love the smell of cotton candy and if you do too, then cotton candy will be your favorite candle of yet.

Now I have a very bad sugar tooth. My wonderful boyfriend says that he knows when its that time of the month because of how bad my sweet tooth gets (sad to say its true). And this candle does not help with the craving of the cotton candy blizzard.

This candle could help ease the craving for it, especially when you are pregnant or don't have the ability to get anything cotton candy. If you do happen to find a bag of cotton candy, it could be too sugary, so this candle is very accurate and not one drop of sugar.

My tart warmer is on the other side of the room from me and I can smell it perfectly as if I was sitting at the table with it, working on the scent samples. The candle is set at moderate scent throw and its accurate to a "T". Now granted my living room barely fits the card table, two coffee tables, the computers, and the chairs (there's not enough room for a couch or anything comfortable).

Now I have a ton of earrings (all different kinds) and my boyfriend says that I have way too many for my own good. But hey I've got the perfect pair of earrings for each occasion or outfit. Dangles are my absolutely favorite. So these are a gorgeous pair to be added to my ever growing collection.

Here's the wonderfully worded description of Cotton Candy on the website: "Close your eyes, breathe deep, and let the wonderful cotton candy aroma take you back to the county fair! With sugary strawberry and sweet vanilla notes, this scent is sure to hit a sweet tooth! Cotton candy candles with jewelry."

Pink Champagne Review

Hey! So I received my rep kit on Wednesday (April 22nd) and I forgot that I was getting two wax tarts when I had original read the description of what my rep kit would involved so when I opened up the box, my box smelt amazing and I just thought it was my little samples... but no I opened my sample box and right on top there were 2 wax tarts. Needless to say I was excited. I fell in love with this company with my first candle (Honeysuckle but that review will come later when I can burn another one..... it was like October 2014 that I first got it so its been a while).

The Pink Champagne candles was actually the Valentines Day candle so its still very new. It was the Love Me or Love Me Not candle. The description that the company gives is:"Pop open a bottle of bubbly champagne and get ready for a celebration! Savor the delicious mix of effervescent citrus notes boosted by a hint of fragrant lilies and crisp cider. It will be a romantic and enticing celebration you will not want to miss!"-Jewelry in Candles website (www.jewelryincandles.com).

Now I don't really drink champagne (actually never had tried it yet) so I wouldn't be able to compare it to what it tastes like. But I can tell you that you can really smell the citrus and the lilies. Now the fragrance level is set at moderate so its not crazy intense unless you sit right next to the candle. The smell doesn't smell amazing in the box (remember I got it in tart form) personally. But as soon as I plotted it in the wax warmer, oh man that smell was fantastic. The lilies are a bit strong and it kinda gives me a headache for the first little bit of it being on (I'm an asthmatic so my sense of smell is a little powerful and strong fragrances are an almost no go so that's the reason the headache), but as it goes on, it smells terrific and it spreads throughout the whole room.

Now know that I can be very patient at most times, but when it comes to these candles, that goes out the window. My wonderful boyfriend, Nathan, has to hold me back from getting the knife and digging the prize out of the wax. Its best to let the candle burn it down to where you can get it. Once you experience your first reveal, its so hard to keep from going for the other. Now the tarts are a bit easier on knowing which one the jewelry is in because of the bottom. The picture on the right is what my wonderful surprise is for this candle. Its a gorgeous blue stone in the middle with delicate silver holding it. Its not marked as it would be if it was worth more than the starting price of $10 but then again, I don't really like to appraise my jewelry simply because I don't care lol.

This is the first necklace piece that I've received that has a stone in the middle. So I'm excited. I think that it brings attention to it. Don't get me wrong, I love my other jewelry (2 necklaces and 1 earring set). But it never hurts to have a little color to catch peoples eyes. I can't wait to get more once I have the money to be able to (unfortunately bills come first >.<).

I asked some of the other people if they've had the candle and what they thought of it. Here are some of the reviews I have received:

Welcome To My Store

Hi, my name is Audrey and I want to introduce you to an amazing company. A company that sells amazing candles that has an awesome surprise EVERY TIME you light or melt a candle. And that surprise is......JEWELRY! What girls wants to spend tons of money on jewelry that sometimes is really expensive? Not women on a budget, I know that from experience. I love jewelry; my earring tree and jewelry box is busting at the seams. I enjoy having something pretty on. Now it may seem like I'm just being a pesky sales person that comes to your door and bug you, but trust me, I'm not. Yes, I'm representative for Jewelry in Candles, but I was a CUSTOMER first and let me tell you, these candles are amazing! I enjoying having candles lit, they just provide this amazing feeling of peace or class.

What makes these candles better than the ones say at Walmart, Sears, or the other shopping centers? Well let me tell you about them. They are made completely out of soy; that's right 100% soy, nothing else! And not to mention again: JEWELRY!!!! What store in sells candles that have jewelry hidden inside of it!?! Only one JEWELRY IN CANDLES! I mean how cool is that. So now you're probably wondering: "Well how can you light the candle and not ruin the jewelry" or "Well where is it?" The answers are actually the same answer: the jewelry is placed in a plastic baggie and then wrapped in tin foil and then placed in the wax as it is being poured.

Do you know what kind of jewelry is being placed in the candle? No, we as representative don't know what piece of jewelry you will get as a gift and that's the point! We want it to be a surprise every time you light or turn on that melting tray for your tarts. We want the *REVEAL* to be just that a *REVEAL*. However if there is a problem with yours, say if you got a duplicate or the candle broke on delivery, or if you were given the wrong candle than what you ordered, you will have a claim form that is sent with your purchase so you can send it back. Now there are rules of course with that. You have to notify Jewelry in Candles in 10 BUSINESS DAYS  from the delivery date, then submit a support ticket through our website with your order ID, the candle's scent/jewelry combo, and a photo with the UNBURNT candle with the USPS packaging present. You should then get a reply in 2 business days with further instructions.

What makes the soy candles better than regular wax candles? Well have you ever blown the candle out too hard (I've done that) and the melted wax got every where? And then to clean it up was a royal pain in the butt, well soy wax doesn't require hours of scratching and scrapping and ruining your furniture. Its an easy clean up. And if you get it on your hands, it DOES NOT burn! So if you have little kids that like to stick their little, adorable hands into everything just because they can, you don't have to worry about the wax (and the flame and plate turned off of course) burning them and causing pain for them. Plus you can use it as a lotion. I mean how cool is that!

Okay so now you've gotten to the part of the post. Do I have you hooked yet? Not  yet, okay how about this? If you host a party for me, any purchases that are made during the party through my store, you get 10% of the sales that goes toward a candle of your own! So say that the party made $300.00, you'd get $30.00 back as a coupon to use for your next purchase. You could ultimately not pay anything at all for a candle. Who doesn't want that? Uh no one!
